What is TexAu?

TexAu is a mixture of two words — Text and Automation. Before developing our product we used to do chatbot and AI consultancy, building chatbots and automation tools for companies and businesses. Now we are a lead generation, sales, and marketing engine for all the growing companies.

We thought about changing the name but we felt it is too much work, deciding the name, finding the domain, social media usernames, etc so we decided to choose TexAu. In the end, the product we build matters, and a brand name comes with it, we are focused on creating a great product — TexAu. 😊

Spice(s)

Spices are single automation scripts.

  • A Spice will do some specific tasks and get back to you with the results.
  • Some examples of Spices are — Scrapping all the LinkedIn Connections, Pulling all the followers from an Instagram profile, or Sending a message to a list of users or a single user.
  • We have around 150 Spices and we are constantly improving and adding new spices. 🙂

Limit

  • The limit is the count of the total number of profiles/followers/connections it can extract.
  • Each script has a limit on the total number of requests you can make per day.
  • We have added these limits as we do not want any user to scrape too much data in a single run — it may lead to blocking or banning of the account.

Limitations

  • Limitations are a description of what spice can do and what it can not do.
  • Some Spices may contain some specific limitations and they will be mentioned on the spice page.

Cookies

  • Cookies are a string of characters that is provided by the websites to the browser when a user visits that website.
  • Cookies act as your identification card for that website.
  • TexAu uses cookies to authenticate websites “as you”.

Recipe

A Recipe is created using multiple Spices.

  • Recipes are just like Zapier Workflows, you can set up complex automation workflows by connecting multiple Spices in a sequence.
  • The Recipe is a unique TexAu feature that enables building complex lead generation pipelines and automating work easier.
  • We will keep updating this glossary with the new terms that we use/add on our platform.
