Scrape search results from Google

How to get Google search results?

You will have to specify the keywords, country & language you want to scrape the search results. You can create a CSV or a Google sheet with the search keywords and link it in the automation. This will enable the automation to continuously scrape for the specified keywords automatically.

Here are the steps to run this automation:

  1. Create a free TexAu account here
  2. Enter the search term in the respective fields. In case you have a list of keywords to extract from Google search, upload it as CSV or use that Google sheet as input for this automation.
  3. Select the search text language from the drop-down. You can leave this blank and the search engine will result in the default language.
  4. Select the country the results should be extracted from. Google delivers different search results for the same query based on the location of the searcher. You can also specify the number of results to be scraped from search results.
  5. Click the “Get search results” button to run the automation right away or click “Schedule this spice” to repeatedly run this automation.

Limitations & important points to note

  1. You can extract 20 searches per day. This is to ensure you get the top results as search results keep changing time and again even for same keywords results seem to change.

Here’s what each of the input points means:

  1. Search text: Enter the search term you want to extract the results for.
  2. Search text language: Specify the language you want to extract from the search engine. You
  3. Country with respect to query location: Specify the country you want the results to come from.
  4. Max count: Specify how many results should the script extract from Google search.

  6. Get Search Results: Clicking on this button will immediately start the execution.
  7. Schedule this spice: You can choose to schedule this automation to find the domains of the specified companies.

How to get google search results using TexAu?

Step 1: Create TexAu account

Step 2: Upload the CSV or paste Google sheet URL (only if you have multiple keywords to extract search results from)

If you have a CSV, simply upload it from your PC. If you have a Google Sheet, there are some extra steps.

Step 4: Download execution results to your local PC

Once you click on Like or Retweet Tweets you will see an execution window at the bottom of your screen, that would look as shown below:

After the execution is complete, you will see the following message in the execution log.

Once you see, click on the ‘Result’ button where you can view your results & download the result as a CSV file as shown below.
