Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store, search for LinkedIn Birthday Export, and click the automation to access its configuration page.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To extract birthday data from LinkedIn, you need to connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two secure connection methods:

• Magic Link: Sends a secure login link to your email for easy connection.
• Add Account: Connect directly via TexAu’s browser extension.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

Define the scope of the birthday export by choosing an input source. TexAu supports:

• Single Profile URL: Enter a single LinkedIn profile URL to extract birthday information for that contact.
• Google Sheets: Provide a Google Sheet containing LinkedIn Profile URLs. Paste the sheet URL into TexAu and authorize access to the data.
• CSV File: Upload a CSV file with LinkedIn Profile URLs. Ensure each URL is listed in a separate row.

This flexibility allows you to customize the export to your needs, whether targeting specific individuals or handling bulk data extraction.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

Use TexAu’s scheduling feature to automate the birthday export at specific times. Click Schedule to set the timing and frequency:

• None: Run the automation immediately.
• At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 8 hours or daily)
• Once
• Every Day
• On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Monday and Wednesday)
• On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
• On Specific Dates (e.g., January 20)

Tip: Automating regular exports ensures you never miss an opportunity to engage with your connections on their birthdays.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To mimic natural behavior and avoid detection by LinkedIn, configure the Iteration Delay. Set the Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay to randomize the time intervals between data extractions.

Tip: Use realistic delays to maintain compliance with LinkedIn’s guidelines.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

In Output Mode, decide how to save and manage the extracted birthday data:

• Google Sheets: Export results directly to Google Sheets for easy tracking and sharing.
• CSV File: Save results locally for offline analysis.
• Output Management:
  • Append (Default): Add new results to the existing file.
  • Split: Generate a new file for each automation run.
  • Overwrite: Replace old data with the latest export.
• Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove duplicate entries.

Tip: Google Sheets is ideal for team collaboration and maintaining updated records.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Click Run to start the automation. Choose the execution method:

• Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers for a hands-free experience.
• Desktop: Executes the automation locally on your device, using your IP address for added control.

Tip: Use Desktop mode to save on cloud runtime costs or for IP-sensitive tasks.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

Once the automation completes, navigate to the Data Store in TexAu. Locate the LinkedIn Birthday Export automation and click See Data to view or download the results.

The exported file includes details such as LinkedIn Profile URLs, names, and upcoming birthdays for personalized outreach.
