    The LinkedIn Connection Checker automation helps you verify the status of your LinkedIn connections to streamline your network management. This tool is especially valuable for sales managers, recruiters, and marketers who want to focus on active relationships while maintaining an updated LinkedIn network. The automation offers options for input customization, scheduling, and data export.

    Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

    Log in to your TexAu account at TexAu Dashboard. Go to the Automation Store and search for "LinkedIn Connection Checker" in the search bar. Click on the result to open the automation configuration page.

    Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

    To allow TexAu to access and check your LinkedIn connections, link your LinkedIn account:

    1. Click Add Account: Select LinkedIn as the account type.
    2. Choose a Connection Method:
      • Magic Link: A secure email link for easy connection without needing cookies.
      • Add Account: A direct setup using the TexAu browser extension.
        Tip: Magic Link is faster and doesn't require manual cookie handling.

    Step 3: Select Your Input Source

    Specify which connections to check using one of these input methods:

    1. Manually Enter a Single Input: Paste a single LinkedIn profile URL to check its connection status.
    2. Use Google Sheets: Connect a Google Sheet with LinkedIn profile URLs listed in separate rows. Authorize TexAu to access your Google account or paste a public sheet URL.
    3. Upload a CSV File: Drag and drop a CSV file containing LinkedIn profile URLs into TexAu. Ensure the file format is correct with one URL per row.

    Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

    Set up the automation to run at specific times or on recurring schedules:

    • None
    • At Regular Intervals: Example: Every 8 hours or daily.
    • Once: Run a single instance of the automation.
    • Every Day: Repeat the process every day.
    • On Specific Days of the Week: Example: Mondays and Thursdays.
    • On Specific Days of the Month: Example: 1st and 15th of each month.
    • On Specific Dates: Example: December 31st.

    Tip: Scheduling the automation ensures you always have updated connection status data.

    Step 5: Iteration Delay (Optional)

    To mimic human-like behavior and avoid LinkedIn restrictions, set an Iteration Delay:

    • Minimum Delay: The shortest pause between actions.
    • Maximum Delay: The longest pause between actions.

    TexAu will randomly select a delay within this range for each connection check.

    Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

    Select how you want to save and organize the data:

    1. Export Options: Choose to export results to Google Sheets or a CSV file.
    2. Output Management:
      • Append: Adds new data to the existing file.
      • Split: Creates a separate file for each run.
      • Overwrite: Replaces the old data with the latest run's results.
    3. Deduplicate: Automatically remove duplicate entries for cleaner data.

    Tip: Google Sheets integration allows for real-time updates and collaboration.

    Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

    Run the configured automation:

    • Cloud: Let TexAu servers handle the process for hands-free execution.
    • Desktop: Run the automation locally on your computer, using your IP address.

    Tip: Use Desktop mode to save cloud runtime costs while retaining control over the process.

    Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

    Once the automation finishes, view your results:

    1. Go to the Data Store section in TexAu.
    2. Locate the "LinkedIn Connection Checker" automation.
    3. Click See Data to download or view the connection status data.
