LinkedIn Group Auto Message

    Tutorial

    Overview

The LinkedIn Group Auto Message automation enables you to send scheduled messages directly to members of LinkedIn groups, allowing you to maintain engagement and share relevant updates. This tool is ideal for community managers, marketers, and recruiters who want to foster communication and interaction within LinkedIn groups. Follow this guide to configure the automation, with options to export data to Google Sheets or CSV for tracking messages.

Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. In the Automation Store, use the search bar to locate LinkedIn Group Auto Message quickly.

Screenshot Suggestion: Show the Automation Store screen with "LinkedIn Group Auto Message" entered in the search bar.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To allow TexAu to access LinkedIn groups and send messages to members, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu provides two secure connection options:

    • Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email, allowing login without needing to manage cookies.
    • Add Account: Connects directly via TexAu’s built-in browser extension for a seamless setup.

Tip: Magic Link is a quick, secure way to connect LinkedIn without manual cookie handling.

    step2

Step 3: Set Up Your Message Content

With LinkedIn connected, enter the content of the message you want to send to group members. TexAu allows you to customize messages with dynamic placeholders, such as:

    • First Name: Personalizes each message with the recipient’s name.
    • Job Title or Company Name: Adds relevant information to make the message more engaging.

Write a concise and clear message to encourage interaction and engagement within the group.

    step3

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

To run the messaging automation on a schedule, configure the Schedule settings. Click Schedule to set the start date and time, or choose a Recurrence Frequency to send messages regularly:

    • At Regular Intervals (e.g., daily or weekly)
    • Once
    • Every Day
    • On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Monday and Friday)
    • On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 5th and 20th)
    • On Specific Dates (e.g., March 1)

Scheduling your messages ensures consistent communication and keeps group members updated and engaged.

    step4

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To avoid LinkedIn’s rate limits, set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between each message sent to group members. Configure Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to introduce variability, simulating natural usage. Adjust the delay in seconds, minutes, or hours as needed.

    step5

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

In Output Mode, select how you want to save and organize data on the messages sent. Export data to Google Sheets or CSV file for easy tracking, review, and analysis.

    1. Export Options: Choose Google Sheets or CSV file as your output destination. Link your Google account if you select Google Sheets, allowing direct export to Google Drive.
    2. Output Management:
      • Append (Default): Adds each message to the end of the existing file, creating a cumulative record.
      • Split: Each automation run generates a new file, helpful for organizing data by session.
      • Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest message log, suitable for tracking recent communications.
    3. Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove duplicate entries, ensuring organized and clean data.

Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets allows real-time access to messaging data for tracking group engagement.

    step6

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Once configurations are complete, click Run to start the automation. Choose to run on Cloud or Desktop mode:

    • Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, ideal for hands-free operation.
    • Desktop: Run locally on your device if you prefer using your IP address, which can help simulate manual usage.

Tip: Running automations on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and provides greater control over task execution.

    step7

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the message data. Locate the LinkedIn Group Auto Message automation and click See Data to view or download the results.

    step8

The LinkedIn Group Auto Message automation simplifies group communication on LinkedIn by allowing you to send scheduled messages directly to members. Ideal for community managers and marketers, this tool helps maintain engagement with scheduling, message customization, and export options to Google Sheets or CSV for organized message tracking and follow-ups.
