Hello TransTech, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Shanghai, China, has raised approximately $2 billion in funding and reached a $6 billion valuation. The company raised early Series A and Series B rounds between 2017 and 2018 to launch and scale its bike sharing platform. In 2019, Hello TransTech secured a $600 million Series C led by Alibaba Group. A $1.05 billion strategic investment in 2021 led by Alibaba valued the company at $6 billion. Hello TransTech operates shared bike and two wheeler mobility services integrated into China’s digital consumer ecosystem.
