Managing Profile Variables in TexAu

TexAu allows you to set up Profile Variables for connected accounts. These variables let you customize and reuse specific data, such as names, job titles, company descriptions, and unique selling points (USPs). This feature simplifies automations by eliminating the need to repeatedly input common data for different accounts and platforms.

How to Set Up Profile Variables

1. Access Profile Variables

Navigate to the Accounts section in TexAu.
Click the Edit Variables button (pencil icon) next to a connected account to manage its profile variables.

2. Add or Edit Variables

In the Profile Variables popup, you will see fields for existing variables and an option to add new ones.
Variable Name: Define a clear and unique name for the variable, e.g., yourFirstName, yourJobTitle, or yourUsp.
Variable Value: Enter the corresponding value for the variable, such as a name, title, description, or contact information.

3. Add New Variables

Click the + New Variable button to add a custom variable.
Fill in the Variable Name and Variable Value fields, then click Save to store the new variable.

4. Delete Variables

Use the trash icon next to any variable to delete it if it's no longer needed.
Confirm the deletion to remove the variable permanently.

5. Save Changes

After adding, editing, or deleting variables, click Save to apply the changes.
These variables will now be available for use in TexAu automations for the selected account.

yourFirstName: First name of the account owner.

X (Twitter) Variables

yourFullName: Full name of the account holder.

yourName: Name of the GitHub account owner.
yourProfileId: GitHub username or profile ID.
