LinkedIn Auto Comment

With TexAu, you can configure comments, schedule automations, and export activity data to Google Sheets or CSV, running tasks on cloud or desktop for flexibility.

Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store, search for LinkedIn Auto Comment, and click the automation to open its configuration page.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To enable TexAu to access your LinkedIn account and post comments, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu provides two secure connection methods:

• Magic Link: Sends a secure login link to your email for a seamless setup.
• Add Account: Connect directly via TexAu’s browser extension.

Tip: Use Magic Link for a quicker and more secure connection.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

Define which LinkedIn posts you want to comment on by selecting an appropriate input source:

• Single Post URL: Enter the LinkedIn Post URL to comment on a specific post.
• Google Sheets: Use a Google Sheet with LinkedIn Post URLs listed in rows. Paste the Google Sheet URL into TexAu and authorize access to the data.
• CSV File: Upload a CSV file with LinkedIn Post URLs for bulk commenting. Ensure each URL is listed in a separate row for accurate processing.

This flexibility allows you to target specific posts or automate comments on multiple posts at once.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

Use TexAu’s scheduling feature to run the automation at specific times. Click Schedule to configure the timing and frequency:

• None: Run the automation immediately.
• At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 8 hours or daily)
• Once
• Every Day
• On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Monday and Thursday)
• On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
• On Specific Dates (e.g., February 20)

Tip: Scheduling automations ensures consistent and strategic LinkedIn engagement.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To mimic human behavior and avoid detection by LinkedIn, configure the Iteration Delay. Adjust the Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to randomize the intervals between comments.

Tip: Use realistic delays to maintain compliance with LinkedIn’s guidelines.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

In Output Mode, specify how to save and manage the results of the automation:

• Google Sheets: Export results directly to a Google Sheet for collaborative tracking.
• CSV File: Save results locally for offline analysis.
• Output Management:
  • Append (Default): Add new results to the existing file.
  • Split: Create a new file for each automation run.
  • Overwrite: Replace old data with the latest results.
• Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove duplicate entries.

Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets is ideal for teams managing multiple LinkedIn campaigns.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Click Run to start the automation. Choose the execution mode:

• Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, ensuring hands-free operation.
• Desktop: Executes the automation locally on your device, using your IP address for added control.

Tip: Desktop mode is recommended for IP-sensitive tasks or to save on cloud runtime costs.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

Once the automation completes, navigate to the Data Store in TexAu. Locate the LinkedIn Auto Comment automation and click See Data to view or download the results.

The exported file includes details such as commented post URLs, timestamps, and comment text for analysis or reporting.
