Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store and type LinkedIn Auto Delete Comment in the search bar to locate this automation.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

Connect your LinkedIn account to TexAu to enable the tool to access and delete comments on your posts.

1. Add Account: Click Add Account, select LinkedIn, and choose one of two methods:
   • Magic Link: Receive a secure link via email for easy login.
   • Add Account via Browser Extension: Connect directly using TexAu's built-in extension.

Tip: Use Magic Link for a quicker, cookie-free setup.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

Choose the source of the LinkedIn posts where you want to delete comments. TexAu provides three input options:

1. Enter a Single LinkedIn Post URL: Paste the URL of a specific post.
2. Google Sheets: Link a shared Google Sheet containing multiple post URLs.
3. CSV File: Upload a CSV file with post URLs listed in a single column.

Tip: Use Google Sheets or CSV for managing bulk post URLs efficiently.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

Set up a schedule to run the automation automatically at specific times or intervals:

• None
• At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 6 hours, daily)
• Once
• Every Day
• Specific Days of the Week (e.g., Mondays, Wednesdays)
• Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
• Specific Dates (e.g., December 25)

Tip: Scheduling is perfect for regular comment moderation to maintain a clean LinkedIn presence.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

Simulate natural behavior by setting an Iteration Delay to control the time interval between deleting each comment.

• Set Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to randomize the time between actions.
• Choose the time unit (seconds, minutes, hours).

Tip: This helps prevent LinkedIn from flagging automated actions as suspicious.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

Select how you want to manage the records of deleted comments. TexAu provides the following output options:

1. Google Sheets: Link your Google account for direct export.
2. CSV File: Save the data locally.
3. Output Management:
   • Append (Default): Add new data to the existing file.
   • Split: Create a new file for every automation run.
   • Overwrite: Replace old data with new data.

Tip: Use Append for ongoing data tracking.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

After configuring all settings, click Run and choose your execution mode:

1. Cloud: Run the automation from TexAu servers for a hands-free process.
2. Desktop: Execute the automation on your local machine, ideal if you prefer to use your IP address.

Tip: Running on Desktop mode reduces cloud runtime costs and offers more control.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

Once the automation completes, go to Data Store in the TexAu dashboard. Locate the LinkedIn Auto Delete Comment automation and click See Data to view or download the log of deleted comments.
