Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store, search for LinkedIn Auto Unlike, and click the automation to open its setup page.
Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu
To automate the process of unliking posts, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two connection methods:
- Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email for seamless login without handling cookies manually.
- Add Account: Uses TexAu’s browser extension for quick and secure integration.
Tip: Use Magic Link for a faster and more secure connection setup.
Step 3: Select Your Input Source
Define which posts you want to unlike by selecting an appropriate input source. TexAu supports:
- Single Post URL: Enter a single LinkedIn Post URL for one-time tasks focused on specific posts.
- Google Sheets: Use a Google Sheet with LinkedIn Post URLs listed in separate rows. Paste the Google Sheet link into TexAu and authorize access to the data.
- CSV File: Upload a CSV file containing LinkedIn Post URLs for bulk unliking. Ensure each URL is listed in a separate row.
This flexibility allows you to target specific posts or bulk-process multiple posts in one run.
Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)
Use TexAu’s scheduling feature to run the automation at specific times. Click Schedule to configure:
- None: Run the automation immediately.
- At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 8 hours or daily)
- Once
- Every Day
- On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Monday and Wednesday)
- On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
- On Specific Dates (e.g., February 10)
Scheduling ensures a consistent and organized approach to managing your LinkedIn engagement.
Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
To mimic human activity and avoid detection by LinkedIn, configure the Iteration Delay. Set the Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to randomize the time intervals between each unlike action.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
Click Run to start the automation. Choose the execution mode:
- Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, providing hands-free operation.
- Desktop: Executes the automation locally on your device, using your IP address for added control.
Tip: Desktop mode is suitable for IP-sensitive tasks and helps save on cloud runtime costs.
Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
After the automation is complete, navigate to the Data Store in TexAu. Locate the LinkedIn Auto Unlike automation and click See Data to view or download the results.
The exported file includes details such as the URLs of unliked posts and timestamps of the action, which can be used for analysis or reporting.
