Step 3: Select Your Input Source
Define the input to specify the YouTube channels for which you want to scrape video data. TexAu provides three input options:
- Manually Enter a Single Input: Enter a YouTube channel URL directly into the input field for focused scraping.
- Google Sheets: Use a Google Sheet containing multiple YouTube channel URLs, one per row. Paste the sheet link or connect your Google account to grant access.
- CSV File: Upload a CSV file with YouTube channel URLs in a column for bulk scraping.
Tip: Use Google Sheets or CSV for efficiently managing multiple entries.
Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)
To automate video scraping at specific times, configure the Schedule settings:
- None: Run the automation immediately.
- At Regular Intervals: Set to repeat every few hours or daily.
- Once: Specify a one-time run at a specific date and time.

- On Specific Dates: Define exact dates for scraping.
Tip: Scheduling helps you regularly update video data without manual effort.
Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
Simulate natural browsing behavior by setting an Iteration Delay between requests. Adjust the following:
- Minimum Delay: Set the shortest interval between each request.
- Maximum Delay: Set the longest interval to add randomness.
For example, set delays between 5–10 seconds to reduce the risk of detection.
Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
Select how you want to save and manage the scraped data:
- Export Options: Choose Google Sheets for real-time collaboration or CSV for offline access.
- Output Management:
- Append: Add new data to the existing file.
- Split: Create a new file for every automation run.
- Overwrite: Replace previous data with the latest scraping results.
- Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to remove duplicate entries for cleaner datasets.
Tip: Exporting directly to Google Sheets is ideal for teams working on live datasets.
Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
Once all configurations are complete, click Run to start the automation. Choose your preferred mode:
- Cloud: Run on TexAu’s servers for hands-free execution.
- Desktop: Run locally on your device to use your IP address and simulate manual browsing.
Tip: Running the automation in Desktop mode can save cloud runtime credits and offer greater control over execution.
