    Tutorial

    Overview

The LinkedIn Group Inviter automation allows you to invite connections to join specific LinkedIn groups, helping you expand group membership and engage your network in targeted communities. This tool is ideal for community managers, marketers, and recruiters who want to grow group audiences efficiently. Follow this guide to configure the automation, with options to export data to Google Sheets or CSV to track invitations.

Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. In the Automation Store, use the search bar to find LinkedIn Group Inviter quickly.

Screenshot Suggestion: Show the Automation Store screen with "LinkedIn Group Inviter" entered in the search bar.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To allow TexAu to access your LinkedIn account and invite connections, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two secure connection options:

    • Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email for login without needing to manage cookies manually.
    • Add Account: Connects directly using TexAu’s built-in browser extension for easy setup.

Tip: Magic Link is a quick, secure way to connect LinkedIn without the hassle of managing cookies.

    step2

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

With LinkedIn connected, define the input source to specify which connections you want to invite to the LinkedIn group. You can enter individual LinkedIn Profile URLs or use Google Sheets or CSV for multiple connections.

    1. Single Profile URL: For inviting a specific connection, enter the LinkedIn Profile URL of the person you wish to invite. This is useful if you are targeting individual contacts.
    2. Google Sheet or CSV for Multiple Profiles: For bulk invitations, use a Google Sheet or CSV file. List each LinkedIn Profile URL in a separate row, then paste the Google Sheet URL or upload the CSV file in TexAu. This setup is ideal for inviting many connections in a single run, saving time.

    step3

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

To run the invitation automation at specific intervals, use TexAu’s scheduling feature. Click Schedule to set the start date and time, or configure a Recurrence Frequency for regular invitations:

    • At Regular Intervals (e.g., every day or every week)
    • Once
    • Every Day
    • On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Tuesday and Thursday)
    • On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
    • On Specific Dates (e.g., March 1)

Scheduling invitations helps you reach more connections gradually, keeping engagement consistent.

    step4

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To prevent LinkedIn’s rate limits from being triggered, set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between each invitation. Configure Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to introduce variability, simulating natural behavior. Adjust this delay in seconds, minutes, or hours as needed.

    step5

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

In Output Mode, select how you want to save and organize data on the invitations sent. Exporting data to Google Sheets or CSV file makes it easy to track who has been invited, ensuring organized follow-up.

    1. Export Options: Choose Google Sheets or CSV file as your output destination. Link your Google account if you select Google Sheets, enabling a direct export to Google Drive.
    2. Output Management:
      • Append (Default): Adds each invitation to the end of the existing file, creating a comprehensive record.
      • Split: Each run generates a new file, helpful for organizing data by session.
      • Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest invitation list, ideal if you’re only interested in recent invitations.
    3. Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove duplicate entries, keeping your data clean and organized.

Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets is useful for monitoring invitation responses and planning future outreach.

    step6

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Once configurations are set, click Run to start the automation. Choose to run on Cloud or Desktop mode:

    • Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, ideal for hands-free operation.
    • Desktop: Run locally on your device if you prefer using your own IP address, which can help simulate manual activity.

Tip: Running the automation on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and provides more control over the process.

    step7

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the invitation data. Locate the LinkedIn Group Inviter automation and click See Data to view or download the results.

    step8

The LinkedIn Group Inviter automation streamlines the process of inviting LinkedIn connections to join specific groups, making it easier for community managers, marketers, and recruiters to grow group membership. With scheduling, bulk input options, and export to Google Sheets or CSV, this tool organizes invitation data for effective group engagement.
