Follow this guide to configure the automation, with options to export data to Google Sheets or CSV for easy management.

Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Go to the Automation Store, then use the search bar to locate LinkedIn Group Members Extractor.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To enable TexAu to access LinkedIn groups and retrieve member information, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu provides two secure connection options:

• Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email, allowing login without managing cookies.
• Add Account: Connects directly using TexAu’s built-in browser extension for straightforward setup.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

After connecting LinkedIn, specify the input source to define the groups you want to scrape for member data. You can enter a single LinkedIn Group URL or upload a list of URLs using Google Sheets or CSV.

1. Single Group URL: For a one-time extraction, enter the LinkedIn Group URL for the group whose members you want to extract. This is useful if you are focusing on one specific group.
2. Google Sheet or CSV for Multiple Groups: To extract data from multiple groups, use a Google Sheet or CSV file. List each LinkedIn Group URL in a separate row, then paste the Google Sheet URL or upload the CSV file in TexAu. This setup allows you to gather data from several groups in one automation run, saving time.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

To retrieve updated group data at regular intervals, configure the Schedule settings. Click Schedule to set the start date and time, or configure a Recurrence Frequency to automate the process:

• At Regular Intervals (e.g., every day or every week)
• Once
• Every Day
• On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Monday and Thursday)
• On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 5th and 20th)
• On Specific Dates (e.g., March 1)

Scheduling is ideal if you want to keep track of new or active members within target groups over time.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To prevent LinkedIn’s rate limits, set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between each group member extraction. Configure Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to add variability, simulating natural behavior. Adjust the delay in seconds, minutes, or hours as needed.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

In Output Mode, select how you want to save and organize the extracted group member data. Export data to Google Sheets or CSV file for easy review, analysis, and sharing.

1. Export Options: Choose Google Sheets or CSV file as your output destination. Link your Google account if you select Google Sheets, enabling a direct export to Google Drive.
2. Output Management:
   • Append (Default): Adds each group member extraction to the end of the existing file, creating a comprehensive list of members.
   • Split: Each run generates a new file, helpful for tracking data by session.
   • Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest extraction, ideal if you’re only interested in recent member data.
3. Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove duplicate entries, keeping your data organized and clean.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Once all configurations are complete, click Run to start the automation. Choose whether to run on Cloud or Desktop mode:

• Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, perfect for hands-free operation.
• Desktop: Run locally on your device if you prefer using your own IP address, which can help simulate manual usage.

Tip: Running automations on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and offers more control over task execution.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the extracted group member data. Locate the LinkedIn Group Members Extractor automation and click See Data to view or download the results.
