LinkedIn Profile Activity Export

The LinkedIn Profile Activity Export automation allows you to extract detailed activity data, such as posts, likes, comments, and shares, from LinkedIn profiles. This tool is invaluable for marketers, sales managers, and growth hackers seeking insights into user engagement, content strategies, and potential leads. Export data seamlessly to Google Sheets or CSV for detailed analysis.

Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Use the Automation Store’s search bar to find LinkedIn Profile Activity Export. Select the automation to proceed with configuration.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To enable LinkedIn data extraction, connect your LinkedIn account to TexAu. Click Add Account and choose LinkedIn. TexAu offers two connection methods:

• Magic Link: A secure email link for seamless login without cookies.
• Add Account: Uses TexAu’s browser extension for quick connection.
  Tip: Magic Link is the easiest way to connect without manual cookie management.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

Define the LinkedIn profiles for activity extraction. TexAu provides these input options:

1. Manually Enter a Single URL: Input a single LinkedIn profile URL for processing.
2. Google Sheets: Link a shared Google Sheet containing profile URLs in a column.
3. CSV File: Upload a CSV file with profile URLs in a single column for bulk processing.
   Tip: Use Google Sheets or CSV for bulk data extraction.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

If you need to extract activity data regularly, configure scheduling settings. Click Schedule to set a start date and time or a Recurrence Frequency:

• None
• At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 6 hours)
• Once
• Every Day
• On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., Mondays and Fridays)
• On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., 1st and 15th)
• On Specific Dates (e.g., January 1)
  Tip: Scheduling ensures data collection remains consistent without manual intervention.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To mimic natural activity and avoid detection by LinkedIn, set an Iteration Delay. Configure Minimum and Maximum Delay values to randomize the time between profile extractions. Delay options include seconds, minutes, hours, or days.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

Specify how the extracted activity data should be saved. TexAu offers the following options:

1. Export to Google Sheets: Connect your Google account for direct export to Drive.
2. Export to CSV: Download the extracted data as a CSV file.
3. Output Management:
   • Append (Default): Adds new records to an existing file.
   • Split: Creates a new file for each run.
   • Overwrite: Replaces previous data with new results.
     Tip: Use Google Sheets for real-time collaboration and CSV for offline analysis.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Start the automation by clicking Run. Choose to execute it on:

• Cloud: Runs the process on TexAu’s servers for hands-free execution.
• Desktop: Executes the automation locally using your IP address, simulating manual activity.
  Tip: Cloud mode is ideal for convenience, while Desktop mode reduces cloud runtime costs.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

Once the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu. Locate the LinkedIn Profile Activity Export automation and click See Data to view or download the extracted activity data.
