This guide will help you set up and run this automation, exporting results to Google Sheets or CSV for easy analysis.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To access LinkedIn data, connect your LinkedIn account to TexAu. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu provides two connection options:

    • Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email, allowing quick login without manually entering cookies.
    • Add Account: Connects directly via TexAu’s built-in browser extension for a seamless connection.

Tip: Using Magic Link offers a quick, secure way to connect without needing manual cookie management.

    step2

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

Once LinkedIn is connected, define your input source by specifying the criteria for the events you want to extract. You can choose a single LinkedIn Event URL or a bulk input option like Google Sheets or a CSV file.

    1. Single Keyword or Event URL: If you want to target a single LinkedIn event or keyword, enter the LinkedIn Event Search URL or the event keyword directly. For example, if you’re tracking events related to "AI Conference," enter the LinkedIn Event URL or keyword for relevant events.

    2. Google Sheet or CSV for Multiple Events: If you need to monitor multiple events or keywords, use a Google Sheet or CSV file. List each event URL or keyword in a separate row. Paste the Google Sheet URL or upload the CSV file in TexAu, allowing it to extract data from multiple events in one run.

    3. LinkedIn Filters: Refine your LinkedIn Event Search URL by adding filters to narrow your search results. For example:

      • Location: Focus on events in specific geographic areas.
      • Date Range: Limit results to upcoming or recent events.
      • Industry: Target events within a specific industry or field.

Adding filters refines your search, ensuring you capture only the most relevant events.

    step3

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

To run the automation at specific times or intervals, use TexAu’s scheduling feature. Click Schedule to set the date and time for the automation, or configure a Recurrence Frequency to repeat it automatically:

    • At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 4 hours or every day)
    • Once
    • Every Day
    • On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., Mondays and Thursdays)
    • On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 10th and 25th)
    • On Specific Dates (e.g., December 1)

Setting a recurring schedule is useful if you’re continuously tracking LinkedIn events over time to capture the latest additions and changes.

    step4

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To avoid triggering LinkedIn’s security systems, TexAu lets you set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between extractions. Set Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to vary the interval between requests, which creates a natural pattern. This delay can be adjusted in seconds, minutes, hours, or days, depending on your requirements.

    step5

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

In Output Mode, select how you’d like to save and export the extracted data. Choose between Google Sheets or CSV file for easier analysis and sharing.

    1. Export Options: Choose between Google Sheets or CSV file as your output destination. Connect your Google account if you select Google Sheets for direct export to Google Drive.
    2. Output Management:
      • Append (Default): Adds each new set of extracted data to the end of previous entries, helpful for tracking events over time.
      • Split: Each run creates a separate file, ideal if you want distinct datasets for each extraction.
      • Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest results, useful if you only need the most current events.
    3. Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to remove duplicate entries between extractions, ensuring a clean and organized dataset.

Tip: Google Sheets export is an excellent choice for real-time collaboration and easy sharing with your team.

    step6

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

After configuring all settings, click Run to start the automation. You can choose to run it on Cloud or Desktop:

    • Cloud: Runs the automation from TexAu’s servers, which is convenient if you don’t need to use your device’s IP.
    • Desktop: Run the automation locally if you prefer using your own device’s IP, which can help simulate manual activity and avoid cloud costs.

Tip: Running automations on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and gives you additional control over task execution.

    step8

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

Once the automation completes, head to the Data Store in TexAu to access your extracted data. Locate your LinkedIn Event Search Export automation and click See Data to view or download the results.

Screenshot Suggestion: Display the Data Store screen with the “See Data” button highlighted.

The LinkedIn Event Search Export automation simplifies the process of tracking and analyzing LinkedIn events based on keywords and filters.
