Step 3: Choose Cloud or Desktop Automation

Select your preferred execution mode for the automation:

    • Cloud: Automate tasks on TexAu’s servers using built-in proxies. Add a custom proxy anytime via Settings > Preferences > Proxies.
    • Desktop: Run the automation on your local device using your IP address to simulate manual posting.
Tip: Running the automation in Desktop mode saves cloud runtime credits and provides more control over execution.

Step 4: Select Your Input Source

This automation enables you to extract the list of profiles you follow on LinkedIn. You can choose between manual entry, Google Sheets, or CSV files as your input source to ensure a tailored and efficient extraction process.

    Manually Enter a Single Input

Use this option to process the following details of a single LinkedIn profile. Paste the LinkedIn profile URL into the LinkedIn Profile URL field (e.g., https://www.linkedin.com/in/example-profile). This method is ideal for a quick extraction of data for a specific profile. Click Run in the lower-right corner to start the process.

Screenshot Suggestion: Display the manual input screen with a sample LinkedIn profile URL entered, highlighting the input field and the Run button.

    Google Sheets

This option is perfect for bulk processing LinkedIn profiles efficiently. Follow these steps to configure:

    • Select Google Account by clicking the button, or add a new Google Sheet account if required.
    • Click Accounts and confirm LinkedIn is selected as the platform.
    • Open Google Drive to locate the spreadsheet containing LinkedIn profile URLs. Select the file, then choose the sheet (e.g., Sheet1) that includes the profile URLs.
    • Specify the column header in the LinkedIn Profile URL field to ensure accurate data extraction.

Enable Loop Mode to re-process the spreadsheet after completing all rows, ensuring recurring updates. Click Run to begin the automation.

Screenshot Suggestion: Show the Google Sheets configuration screen, highlighting account selection, sheet selection, and column selection for LinkedIn profile URLs.

    CSV File

Use this option to process LinkedIn profile URLs stored in a static file. Here's how to configure:

    • Click Upload CSV File and browse your computer to locate the file containing LinkedIn profile URLs.
    • Verify the uploaded file by checking the preview displayed on the screen. Ensure it contains accurate and complete data.
    • Select the column header for LinkedIn profile URLs to process the correct data.

Click Run in the lower-right corner to initiate data extraction for the specified profiles.

Screenshot Suggestion: Show the CSV upload screen, highlighting the upload process, file preview, and column selection for LinkedIn profile URLs.

Step 5: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

Set up a schedule to export LinkedIn following data at specific times. Click Select Scheduling Mode to choose from these options:

    • None
    • At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 12 hours or daily)
    • Once
    • Every Day
    • On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Monday)
    • On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
    • On Specific Dates (e.g., March 1)

Step 6: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

Avoid detection and simulate human-like activity by setting an iteration delay. Choose minimum and maximum time intervals to add randomness between actions. This makes your activity look natural and reduces the chance of being flagged.

    • Minimum Delay: Enter the shortest interval (e.g., 10 seconds).
    • Maximum Delay: Enter the longest interval (e.g., 20 seconds).

Tip: Random delays keep your automation safe and reliable.

Step 7: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

Organize and save the exported data according to your preferences:

    • Append: Add new data to an existing file for continuous updates.
    • Split: Save each run’s results as a new file for separate tracking.
    • Overwrite: Replace older data with the latest results for up-to-date records.
    • Deduplicate: Remove duplicate entries automatically to keep the data clean.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

Once the automation completes, navigate to the Data Store section in TexAu to view and download the results. Locate the LinkedIn Following Export automation or the name you’ve entered. Click See Data to access your results, then choose:

    • Download CSV: Export the data for offline use.
    • Open to Google Sheet: Access the data directly in Google Sheets for collaborative analysis.

The LinkedIn Following Export automation simplifies the process of tracking your LinkedIn connections’ engagement by providing organized data. Founders, marketers, and growth hackers can leverage this information for strategic decision-making and audience targeting. Automate your workflow with TexAu’s scheduling, iteration delay, and output options, and easily export data to Google Sheets or CSV for integration into your business strategies.
