Overview
The LinkedIn Profile Skills Endorser automation allows you to automatically endorse skills on LinkedIn profiles, strengthening connections and supporting network engagement. This tool is ideal for sales teams, recruiters, and network managers who want to boost relationship-building and show appreciation to key contacts. Follow this guide to configure the automation, with options to export endorsed profiles to Google Sheets or CSV for tracking.
Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. In the Automation Store, type LinkedIn Profile Skills Endorser in the search bar to quickly locate this tool.
Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu
To allow TexAu to access LinkedIn profiles and endorse skills on your behalf, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two secure connection options:
- Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email, allowing you to connect without handling cookies manually.
- Add Account: Connects directly through TexAu’s built-in browser extension for easy setup.
Tip: Magic Link is a secure, fast option to connect LinkedIn without managing cookies.
Step 3: Select Your Input Source
Once LinkedIn is connected, specify the input source to define which profiles you want to endorse. You can enter a single LinkedIn Profile URL or upload a list of URLs via Google Sheets or CSV.
- Single Profile URL: For endorsing skills on a specific profile, enter the LinkedIn Profile URL. This is useful if you are focusing on one key connection or contact.
- Google Sheet or CSV for Multiple Profiles: For bulk endorsements, use a Google Sheet or CSV file. List each LinkedIn Profile URL in a separate row, then paste the Google Sheet URL or upload the CSV file in TexAu. This setup is ideal for endorsing skills on multiple profiles in one run, saving time and effort.
- Filtering Options: Add filters to focus on specific connections, such as location or job title, to ensure endorsements are targeted and relevant.
Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)
Use TexAu’s scheduling feature if you want the automation to endorse skills at specific intervals. Click Schedule to set the date and time, or configure a Recurrence Frequency to repeat the automation:
- At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 6 hours or every day)
- Once
- Every Day
- On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Tuesday and Thursday)
- On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
- On Specific Dates (e.g., March 5)
Scheduling the automation can help maintain steady engagement with your network by endorsing skills periodically.
Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
To prevent LinkedIn from detecting repetitive endorsements, set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between each profile endorsement. Configure both Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to create variability, helping avoid detection. Adjust the delay in seconds, minutes, hours, or days, based on your preferences.
Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
In Output Mode, select how you want to save and manage data on endorsed profiles. Export data to Google Sheets or CSV file for tracking your endorsements.
- Export Options: Choose Google Sheets or CSV file as your output destination. Link your Google account if you select Google Sheets, enabling a direct export to Google Drive.
- Output Management:
- Append (Default): Adds each endorsed profile to the end of the existing file, creating a comprehensive record of endorsements.
- Split: Each run generates a new file, helpful for keeping data separated by session.
- Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest endorsed profiles, ideal if you’re only interested in the most recent endorsement activity.
- Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove duplicate entries, ensuring data remains clean and organized.
Tip: Google Sheets export is ideal for collaborative teams, allowing everyone to view and update endorsement activity in real-time.
Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
Once all configurations are set, click Run to start the automation. Choose between Cloud or Desktop mode:
- Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, ideal for hands-free operation.
- Desktop: Run locally on your device if you prefer using your IP address, which may help simulate manual usage.
Tip: Running automations on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and provides more control over task execution.
Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the endorsed profile data. Locate the LinkedIn Profile Skills Endorser automation and click See Data to view or download the results.
