This tool is ideal for sales teams, recruiters, and network managers who want to boost relationship-building and show appreciation to key contacts. Follow this guide to configure the automation, with options to export endorsed profiles to Google Sheets or CSV for tracking.

Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. In the Automation Store, type LinkedIn Profile Skills Endorser in the search bar to quickly locate this tool.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To allow TexAu to access LinkedIn profiles and endorse skills on your behalf, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two secure connection options:

• Share Via Magic Link: Click Share Via Magic Link, copy the URL, and paste it into your browser to access the Connect New Account page. Install the extension to complete account integration.
• Add Account: Connects directly through TexAu’s built-in browser extension for easy setup.

Tip: Magic Link is a secure, fast option to connect LinkedIn without managing cookies.

Step 3: Choose Cloud or Desktop Automation

Select your preferred execution mode for the automation:

• Cloud: Automate tasks on TexAu’s servers using built-in proxies. Add a custom proxy anytime via Settings > Preferences > Proxies.
• Desktop: Run the automation on your local device using your IP address to simulate manual posting.
  Tip: Running the automation in Desktop mode saves cloud runtime credits and provides more control over execution.

Step 4: Select Your Input Source

LinkedIn Profile Skills Endorser allows you to automate the process of endorsing skills on LinkedIn profiles. This feature is beneficial for networking, building professional relationships, or supporting colleagues and connections. You can choose between manual inputs or automated bulk processing using Google Sheets or CSV files. Here's how to set it up:

Manually Enter a Single Input

Use this option to endorse skills for a specific LinkedIn profile. This method is perfect for one-off, high-priority endorsements.

• Profile URL: Enter the LinkedIn profile URL.
• Number of Skills to Endorse (Optional): Specify the number of skills to endorse per LinkedIn profile.
• After entering the required details, click Run in the lower-right corner to initiate the automation.

Google Sheets

This option is ideal for endorsing skills on multiple LinkedIn profiles efficiently. Follow these steps to use Google Sheets:

1. Click Select Google Account to choose your Google account or click on Add New Google Sheet Account (you can add multiple Google accounts).
2. Click Accounts to select LinkedIn as the platform.
3. Click Open Google Drive to locate the Google Sheet containing LinkedIn profile URLs. A pop-up will display your Google Drive files.
4. Select the spreadsheet and the specific sheet containing LinkedIn profile URLs. Confirm the correct sheet selection to ensure the data is accurate.
5. Configure additional options:
   • Number of Rows to Process (Optional): Define the number of rows you want to process from the sheet.
   • Number of Rows to Skip (Optional): Specify rows to skip at the beginning of the sheet.
6. Select Header: Choose the column header containing LinkedIn profile URLs. This step is mandatory for the automation to function correctly.
7. Number of Skills to Endorse (Optional): Specify the number of skills to endorse per LinkedIn profile.
8. Click Run in the lower-right corner to start the automation if no advanced settings are needed.

Optional Advanced Feature:

• Loop Mode: Enable Loop Mode to re-process the Google Sheet from the beginning once all rows are completed. This is useful for tasks that require recurring updates.

CSV File

This option allows you to process LinkedIn profiles from a static file for skill endorsements. Follow these steps:

1. Click Upload CSV File and browse to locate the file containing LinkedIn profile URLs.
2. Once uploaded, TexAu will display the file name and preview its content. Verify the data to confirm the correct file is selected.
3. Configure additional options:
   • Number of Rows to Process (Optional): Specify the number of rows to process from the CSV file.
   • Number of Rows to Skip (Optional): Define rows to skip at the beginning of the file.
4. Select Header: Choose the column header containing LinkedIn profile URLs. This step is mandatory for the automation to function correctly.
5. Number of Skills to Endorse (Optional): Specify the number of skills to endorse per LinkedIn profile.
6. Click Run in the lower-right corner to initiate the automation if advanced configurations like scheduling are not required.

Tip: Use Google Sheets for dynamic or frequently updated lists of LinkedIn profiles, and CSV files for static data that doesn’t change often.

Step 5: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

Use TexAu’s scheduling feature if you want the automation to endorse skills at specific intervals. Click Schedule to set the date and time, or configure a Recurrence Frequency to repeat the automation:

• None
• At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 6 hours or every day)
• Once
• Every Day
• On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Tuesday and Thursday)
• On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
• On Specific Dates (e.g., March 5)

Scheduling the automation can help maintain steady engagement with your network by endorsing skills periodically.

Step 6: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

Avoid detection and simulate human-like activity by setting an iteration delay. Choose minimum and maximum time intervals to add randomness between actions. This makes your activity look natural and reduces the chance of being flagged.

• Minimum Delay: Enter the shortest interval (e.g., 10 seconds).
• Maximum Delay: Enter the longest interval (e.g., 20 seconds).

Tip: Random delays keep your automation safe and reliable.

Step 7: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

Choose how to save and manage the extracted alumni data. TexAu provides the following options:

• Append (Default): Adds new results to the end of existing data, merging them into a single CSV file.
• Split: Saves new results as separate CSV files for each automation run.
• Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest results.
• Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate (Default) to remove duplicate rows.

Tip: Google Sheets export makes it easy to collaborate with your team in real time, particularly useful for alumni network management and analysis.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the endorsed profile data. Locate the LinkedIn Profile Skills Endorser automation and click See Data to view or download the results.
