Drip Campaigns

Drip campaigns send a pre-scheduled series of messages over time — onboarding sequences, nurture flows, win-back tracks — to move a contact toward a defined outcome.

What is a drip campaign?

A drip campaign is an automated series of messages — usually email, sometimes multi-channel — delivered on a defined schedule or triggered by behavior. The classic use case is onboarding (day 1, day 3, day 7, day 14); other staples are lead nurture, re-engagement, and post-event follow-up.

Why it matters

  • Keeps a brand top-of-mind across the long sales cycles common in B2B
  • Lifts conversion at each stage by delivering the right message at the right time
  • Frees humans from mechanical follow-up and lets them focus on warm replies

Drip vs. trigger-based vs. adaptive

  • Drip: fixed cadence, same sequence for everyone in the segment
  • Trigger-based: each step fires on a behavior (download, page visit, score change)
  • Adaptive: AI rewrites the next step based on behavior + enrichment

How TexAu helps

Use TexAu workflows to assemble the segment, enrich and score, then hand off to your sequencer for delivery — with branching rules that promote engaged contacts into a faster, more direct cadence.
