LinkedIn Event Inviter

    Tutorial

    Overview

The LinkedIn Event Inviter automation allows you to automatically invite your LinkedIn connections to join specific events, making it easy to boost event attendance and engagement. This tool is ideal for event organizers, marketers, and community managers who want to maximize event reach. Follow this guide to configure the automation, with options to export data to Google Sheets or CSV for tracking invitations.

Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. In the Automation Store, use the search bar to find LinkedIn Event Inviter quickly.

    step1

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To enable TexAu to access LinkedIn and send event invitations on your behalf, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu provides two secure connection methods:

    • Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email for login without manual cookie handling.
    • Add Account: Connects directly using TexAu’s built-in browser extension for quick setup.

Tip: Magic Link is a fast and secure way to connect LinkedIn without needing to manage cookies.

    step2

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

Once LinkedIn is connected, specify the input source to define which connections you want to invite to the event. You can enter individual LinkedIn Profile URLs or use Google Sheets or CSV for a list of connections.

    1. Single Profile URL: For inviting a specific connection, enter the LinkedIn Profile URL of the individual. This option is useful if you’re focused on inviting a single contact.
    2. Google Sheet or CSV for Multiple Profiles: For bulk invitations, use a Google Sheet or CSV file. List each LinkedIn Profile URL in a separate row, then paste the Google Sheet URL or upload the CSV file in TexAu. This setup allows you to invite multiple connections in one run.
    step3

Step 4: Set the Event URL

To specify the event, enter the LinkedIn Event URL in the designated field. This URL tells TexAu which event to send invitations for, ensuring your connections receive the correct invitation.

Screenshot Suggestion: Show the LinkedIn Event URL field with an example URL filled in.

Step 5: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

To send invitations at scheduled times, configure the Schedule settings. Click Schedule to set the start date and time, or configure a Recurrence Frequency for regular invitation sessions:

    • At Regular Intervals (e.g., daily or weekly)
    • Once
    • Every Day
    • On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Tuesday and Friday)
    • On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
    • On Specific Dates (e.g., March 1)

Scheduling invitations can help you maintain consistent engagement and avoid sending too many invites at once.

    step4

Step 6: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To avoid LinkedIn’s rate limits, set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between each invitation. Configure Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to introduce variability, simulating natural usage. Adjust the delay in seconds, minutes, or hours as needed.

    step6

Step 7: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

In Output Mode, select how you want to save and organize data on the invitations sent. Export data to Google Sheets or CSV file for easy tracking, review, and follow-up.

    1. Export Options: Choose Google Sheets or CSV file as your output destination. Link your Google account if you select Google Sheets, allowing direct export to Google Drive.
    2. Output Management:
      • Append (Default): Adds each invitation to the end of the existing file, creating a cumulative record.
      • Split: Each run generates a new file, helpful for organizing data by session.
      • Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest invitation list, ideal if you’re only interested in recent invitations.
    3. Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove duplicate entries, ensuring your data remains organized and clean.

Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets provides real-time access to invitation data, making it easy to monitor invitees and plan follow-up.

    step7

Step 8: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Once all configurations are complete, click Run to start the automation. Choose whether to run on Cloud or Desktop mode:

    • Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, ideal for hands-free operation.
    • Desktop: Run locally on your device if you prefer using your own IP address, which can help simulate manual usage.

Tip: Running automations on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and provides more control over task execution.

    step8

Step 9: Access the Data from the Data Store

After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the data on sent invitations. Locate the LinkedIn Event Inviter automation and click See Data to view or download the results.

    step9

The LinkedIn Event Inviter automation streamlines the process of inviting LinkedIn connections to events, helping event organizers and marketers maximize attendance. With scheduling, bulk input options, and export to Google Sheets or CSV, this tool organizes invitation data for effective event engagement and follow-up planning.
