LinkedIn Group Chat Auto Message

    Tutorial

    Overview

The LinkedIn Group Chat Auto Message automation enables you to send automated messages to members of specific LinkedIn group chats, making it easy to maintain engagement and deliver updates. This tool is ideal for community managers, sales teams, and networkers who want to foster communication and keep group members informed. Follow this guide to configure the automation, with options to export data to Google Sheets or CSV for tracking messages.

Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. In the Automation Store, use the search bar to locate LinkedIn Group Chat Auto Message quickly.

Screenshot Suggestion: Show the Automation Store screen with "LinkedIn Group Chat Auto Message" entered in the search bar.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To allow TexAu to access LinkedIn group chats and send messages, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two secure connection methods:

    • Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email, allowing login without managing cookies.
    • Add Account: Connects directly via TexAu’s built-in browser extension for easy setup.

Tip: Magic Link is a fast, secure way to connect LinkedIn without needing to manually handle cookies.

    step2

Step 3: Set Up Your Message Content

With LinkedIn connected, enter the content of the message you want to send to the group chat. Craft your message to be clear and relevant to the group’s focus. TexAu allows you to customize each message with dynamic placeholders, such as:

    • First Name: Personalize the message by addressing each member by name.
    • Job Title or Company Name: Include relevant details to make messages more engaging.

    step3

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

To run the automation on a set schedule, use the scheduling feature. Click Schedule to set the start date and time, or configure a Recurrence Frequency for regular messaging:

    • At Regular Intervals (e.g., every day or every week)
    • Once
    • Every Day
    • On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Monday and Thursday)
    • On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
    • On Specific Dates (e.g., March 1)

Scheduling your messages ensures consistent engagement within the group, keeping members informed and engaged.

    step4

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To avoid LinkedIn’s rate limits, set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between each message sent. Configure Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to introduce variability, simulating natural interactions. Adjust the delay in seconds, minutes, or hours as needed.

    step5

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

In Output Mode, select how you want to save and organize data on the messages sent. Export data to Google Sheets or CSV file for easy tracking and analysis.

    1. Export Options: Choose Google Sheets or CSV file as your output destination. Link your Google account if you select Google Sheets, enabling a direct export to Google Drive.
    2. Output Management:
      • Append (Default): Adds each message to the end of the existing file, creating a comprehensive record of sent messages.
      • Split: Each run generates a new file, ideal for tracking by session.
      • Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest message log, suitable if you only need recent communication data.
    3. Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove duplicate entries, keeping your data organized and clean.

Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets allows for collaborative review and efficient tracking of communication history within the group.

    step6

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Once configurations are set, click Run to start the automation. Choose to run on Cloud or Desktop mode:

    • Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, ideal for hands-free operation.
    • Desktop: Run locally on your device if you prefer using your own IP address, which can help simulate manual usage.

Tip: Running automations on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and provides more control over task execution.

    step7

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the message data. Locate the LinkedIn Group Chat Auto Message automation and click See Data to view or download the results.

    step8

The LinkedIn Group Chat Auto Message automation makes it easy to consistently engage with members of LinkedIn group chats, helping community managers, sales teams, and networkers foster active discussions. With scheduling, customizable message options, and export to Google Sheets or CSV, this tool simplifies group chat management and member engagement.
