Step 2: Connect to Twitter with TexAu

2. Google Sheets: For bulk analysis, create a Google Sheet with a list of Twitter poll URLs in separate rows. Paste the sheet’s public URL into TexAu.
3. CSV File: Prepare a CSV file containing poll URLs and upload it into TexAu for bulk extraction.

Tip: Use Google Sheets or CSV for managing large numbers of poll URLs efficiently, ensuring your analysis covers all relevant polls.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

Schedule the automation to extract poll votes at specific times:

1. Click Schedule to set the start date and time for the process.
2. Choose a Recurrence Frequency to extract votes regularly:
   • None: Run the automation immediately once.
   • At Regular Intervals: Specify the time gap (e.g., every 12 hours).
   • Every Day: Repeat the process daily to capture ongoing poll activity.
   • On Specific Days of the Week: Choose days like Monday and Thursday.
   • On Specific Dates: Select exact calendar dates for custom scheduling.

Scheduling ensures you capture the latest poll responses without manual effort.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

Configure an Iteration Delay to simulate natural behavior during bulk extraction:

1. Set the Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to define random intervals between processing each poll URL.
2. Select the delay unit: seconds, minutes, or hours.

This feature ensures TexAu processes data smoothly without overloading the system or appearing suspicious.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

Select how you’d like to save the extracted poll data:

1. Export Options:
   • Google Sheets: Export the data directly to a Google Sheet for live collaboration.
   • CSV File: Save the data locally for offline access and analysis.
2. Output Management:
   • Append: Add the extracted data to the existing file.
   • Split: Save each automation run as a new file for organization.
   • Overwrite: Replace the previous file with updated data.
3. Deduplicate: Enable this option to ensure your output is free of duplicate entries.

Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets is ideal for real-time data sharing and collaborative analysis.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Once all settings are configured, run the automation:

1. Click the Run button.
2. Choose the execution mode:
   • Cloud: Run the automation from TexAu’s servers for fast, hands-free operation.
   • Desktop: Run the automation on your local device to save cloud runtime costs and use your IP address.

Tip: Choose Desktop mode for greater control or when working with sensitive data requiring local execution.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

After the automation completes, access the extracted data in TexAu’s Data Store:

1. Navigate to the Data Store section in the app.

2. Locate the Twitter Poll Votes Export automation in the list.

3. Click See Data to view or download details, including poll responses and vote counts.
