Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store, and search for Twitter Quote Retweets Export to locate the tool.
Step 2: Connect to Twitter with TexAu
To allow TexAu to access your Twitter data, you need to connect your Twitter account.
- Click Add Account and select Twitter.
- Use TexAu's secure authentication method to log in and authorize access.

- Click Schedule, then choose a start date and time or a recurrence option:
- None
- At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 12 hours)
- Once
- Every Day
- On Specific Days of the Week
- On Specific Days of the Month
- On Specific Dates
Tip: Regular scheduling helps you monitor ongoing campaign performance or engagement trends.
Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
To mimic human activity and prevent Twitter from flagging your account, set an iteration delay.
- Define Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values (in seconds, minutes, or hours).
- TexAu will randomize the delay between each data extraction within the specified range.
Tip: A delay of 5–10 seconds is usually sufficient for most use cases.
Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
Select how TexAu should manage the extracted data for your quote retweets.
- Export Options: Choose between Google Sheets or CSV file. If selecting Google Sheets, ensure the account is linked for direct export.
- Output Management:
- Append: Add new data to the existing file.
- Split: Create a new file for each run.
- Overwrite: Replace previous data with the latest extraction.
- Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to remove duplicate entries.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
Once all configurations are complete, click Run. Choose between:
- Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu's servers for hands-free operation.
- Desktop: Runs locally on your device, using your IP for the process.
Tip: Use Desktop mode if you want to save cloud runtime credits or simulate manual activity.
Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
After the automation finishes, navigate to the Data Store section in TexAu to view your results.
Locate the Twitter Quote Retweets Export automation.
Click See Data to view or download the extracted quote retweets in your chosen format.
