Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu

To allow TexAu to access LinkedIn and retrieve ads data, connect your LinkedIn account:

    1. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn.
    2. Choose a connection method:
      • Magic Link: A secure link is sent to your email for easy login without manually entering cookies.
      • Add Account: Use the built-in browser extension for direct setup.

Tip: The Magic Link option offers a quick and secure way to connect without managing cookies manually.

    step2

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

Define the source of the ads you want to export. TexAu provides three input options:

    1. Enter a Single LinkedIn Ad URL: Manually input the URL of a specific LinkedIn ad.
    2. Google Sheets: Link a shared Google Sheet containing multiple ad URLs.
    3. CSV File: Upload a CSV file with ad URLs in a single column.

Tip: For bulk ad analysis, using Google Sheets or a CSV file is the most efficient method.

    step3

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

Set up a schedule for the automation to run at specific times or intervals. Click Schedule and choose from the following options:

    • None
    • At Regular Intervals (e.g., every 6 hours)
    • Once
    • Every Day
    • On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., Mondays and Thursdays)
    • On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
    • On Specific Dates (e.g., January 10)

Scheduling helps automate regular data exports, keeping your ad analysis up-to-date.

    step4

    Step 5: Iteration Delay (Optional)

To simulate natural activity and avoid LinkedIn’s detection systems, set an iteration delay:

    1. Configure a Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay between actions.
    2. Choose delay intervals in seconds, minutes, hours, or days.

Tip: Setting a randomized delay range is a best practice to avoid triggering LinkedIn's anti-bot algorithms.

    step5

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

Define how you want the extracted data to be saved and managed. TexAu offers three output options:

    1. Export to Google Sheets: Link your Google account for seamless export to Google Drive.
    2. Export to CSV File: Download the extracted data as a CSV file.
    3. Output Management:
      • Append (Default): Add new data to the end of the existing file.
      • Split: Create a new file for each automation run.
      • Overwrite: Replace old data with new data from the current run.

Tip: Use Google Sheets for real-time collaboration and analysis.

    step6

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Once the setup is complete, click Run to start the automation. Select from:

    • Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu servers for hands-free operation.
    • Desktop: Runs locally on your device using your IP address, ideal for tasks requiring local execution.

Tip: Running the automation on Desktop mode reduces cloud runtime costs and offers greater control.

    step7

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

After the automation completes, retrieve your exported data:

    1. Go to the Data Store in TexAu.
    2. Locate the LinkedIn Ads Library Export automation.
    3. Click See Data to view or download the extracted information.
    step8

The LinkedIn Ads Library Export automation is a powerful tool for marketers and businesses to analyze LinkedIn ad campaigns efficiently. With features like scheduling, customizable input sources, and Google Sheets or CSV export options, it streamlines your ad strategy research, saving time and effort.
