The Twitter People List Builder automation helps you create custom lists of Twitter users based on specific search criteria like hashtags, keywords, or topics. This tool is ideal for marketers, growth hackers, and social media managers aiming to organize Twitter accounts for targeted outreach, content tracking, or influencer engagement. With bulk processing, scheduling, and export options, this automation simplifies list creation.
Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store and search for Twitter People List Builder in the search bar to locate this tool.
Step 2: Connect to Twitter with TexAu
Connect your Twitter account. Click Add Account and select Twitter. Choose one of the following secure connection methods:
- Magic Link: Authenticate via a secure email link for quick and seamless setup.
- Add Account via Browser Extension: Use TexAu’s browser extension for direct integration.
Tip: The Magic Link method is the easiest way to link your account without managing cookies manually.
Step 3: Select Your Input Source
Define the criteria for the Twitter users to include in your list by selecting an appropriate input source. TexAu provides the following options:
- Search by Keyword or Hashtag: Enter specific keywords or hashtags to find relevant Twitter accounts.
- Google Sheet or CSV File: For bulk searches, prepare a Google Sheet or CSV file with multiple keywords or hashtags. Paste the Google Sheet link or upload the CSV file to TexAu.
Tip: Use Google Sheets for collaborative projects to easily manage and update keywords or hashtags.
Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)
Use TexAu’s Schedule feature to run the automation at specific times to regularly update or build new lists. Click Schedule to configure the timing. Options include:
- None: Run the automation immediately.
- At Regular Intervals: Set recurring runs, such as daily or weekly.
- Once: Schedule a one-time list-building session on a specific date and time.
- Every Day: Automate daily list updates for consistent tracking.
- On Specific Days of the Week: Run the automation on particular days like Mondays or Fridays.
- On Specific Days of the Month: Schedule runs for specific dates, such as the 1st or 15th.
- On Specific Dates: Build lists on key campaign dates.
Tip: Scheduling ensures you regularly capture new and relevant accounts for targeted engagement.
Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
To mimic natural activity and avoid detection, configure an Iteration Delay. Set the Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to randomize the intervals between user searches and list additions. Adjust the delay in seconds, minutes, or hours as needed.
Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
Select how you want to save and manage the data of Twitter accounts added to your list. TexAu offers the following options:
- Google Sheets: Export the list details directly to Google Drive for easy sharing and collaboration.
- CSV File: Download the list as a CSV file for offline analysis and future reference.
- Output Management:
- Append (Default): Add new accounts to an existing file for cumulative tracking.
- Split: Generate a new file for each automation run to maintain separate records.
- Overwrite: Replace the previous data with the latest list.
- Deduplicate: Enable this option to automatically remove duplicate entries and keep your list organized.
Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets is ideal for teams that require real-time updates and collaboration on list management.
Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
After configuring the automation, click Run to start building your Twitter list. Choose one of the following modes:
- Cloud Mode: Run the automation on TexAu’s servers for hands-free operation.
- Desktop Mode: Execute the automation locally on your device to save cloud runtime credits and use your IP address.
Tip: Use Desktop Mode for greater control over execution and to reduce server usage costs.
Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
Once the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to view or download the Twitter list. Locate the Twitter People List Builder automation and click See Data to access your results.
