Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store and search for Twitter Profile Tweets Export in the search bar to locate the tool.

Step 2: Connect to Twitter with TexAu

To enable TexAu to extract tweets, connect your Twitter account by clicking Add Account and selecting Twitter. Choose from these secure connection methods:

• Magic Link: Authenticate your account via a secure email link for fast integration.
• Add Account via Browser Extension: Use TexAu’s extension for a straightforward and seamless connection.

Tip: Opt for the Magic Link method for the quickest and most user-friendly experience without needing to manage cookies.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

Specify the Twitter profiles you want to extract tweets from using the following input options:

1. Manual Input: Enter a single Twitter username directly into the input field.
2. Google Sheet or CSV: For bulk processing, list multiple Twitter usernames in a Google Sheet or CSV file. Paste the sheet’s link or upload the CSV file to TexAu for easy integration.

Tip: Use Google Sheets for team collaboration when managing a list of profiles to extract data from.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

Use TexAu’s Schedule feature to automate tweet extraction at specific times. Click Schedule to configure your preferred schedule. Options include:

• None: Run the automation immediately without scheduling.
• At Regular Intervals: Extract tweets at recurring intervals such as every few hours or days.
• Once: Schedule a one-time extraction on a specific date and time.
• Every Day: Automate daily extraction for continuous updates.
• On Specific Days of the Week: Run the automation on selected days like Mondays or Wednesdays.
• On Specific Days of the Month: Extract tweets on particular dates, such as the 1st or 15th.
• On Specific Dates: Schedule the automation for specific events or campaigns.

Tip: Scheduling helps track ongoing activities and trends without needing to initiate the process manually.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To avoid detection and mimic natural activity, configure an Iteration Delay. Set the Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay to randomize intervals between actions. You can adjust the delay in seconds, minutes, or hours.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

Select how you’d like to manage and save the extracted tweets. TexAu offers several output options:

1. Google Sheets: Automatically export the extracted data to a Google Sheet for real-time sharing.
2. CSV File: Download the data as a CSV for offline storage and analysis.
3. Output Management:
   • Append (Default): Add new records to an existing file for cumulative data tracking.
   • Split: Create a new file for each automation run.
   • Overwrite: Replace the previous data with the most recent extraction.
4. Deduplicate: Enable this option to remove duplicate entries and maintain a clean dataset.

Tip: Exporting directly to Google Sheets is ideal for collaborative teams that require updated records in real-time.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

After configuring the automation, click Run to start extracting tweets. Choose your execution mode:

• Cloud Mode: Run the automation on TexAu’s servers for hands-free operation.
• Desktop Mode: Execute the automation locally on your device, allowing you to use your IP address and save cloud runtime credits.

Tip: Use Desktop Mode to maintain greater control over execution and reduce server costs.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

Once the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to view or download the extracted tweets. Locate the Twitter Profile Tweets Export automation and click See Data to access your results.
