The Twitter Auto Retweet automation enables you to engage with your target audience effectively by automatically retweeting posts based on your input criteria. This tool is highly valuable for founders, marketers, sales managers, and growth hackers aiming to boost visibility, build brand presence, and streamline their Twitter engagement strategy.
Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store and type Twitter Auto Retweet in the search bar. Select this tool from the list of automations to begin the setup process.\
Step 2: Connect to Twitter with TexAu
To allow TexAu to perform retweets on your behalf, connect your Twitter account. Click Add Account and choose Twitter. TexAu uses secure OAuth integration for easy and secure account linking. Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize TexAu access.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source
Define the criteria for the tweets you want to retweet. TexAu provides the following input source options:
- Manually Enter Keywords or URLs: Input hashtags, keywords, or specific tweet URLs to target.
- Google Sheets: Create a Google Sheet containing keywords, hashtags, or tweet URLs. Share the sheet and paste its link in TexAu.
- CSV File: Upload a CSV file with a column listing hashtags, keywords, or tweet URLs.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)
Configure the schedule to run the automation at specific times. Click Schedule and select:
- None: Run the automation immediately.
- At Regular Intervals: E.g., every 4 hours or daily.
- Once: Execute the automation one time.
- Every Day: Retweet posts every day at your specified time.
- On Specific Days of the Week: E.g., only on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- On Specific Days of the Month: E.g., the 1st and 15th.
- On Specific Dates: E.g., December 31.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
Add an Iteration Delay to simulate natural behavior and prevent flagging by Twitter. Specify the Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay between each retweet. The delay is applied randomly within the range you set, ensuring organic-like automation.
Tip: A delay of 30–60 seconds between actions is recommended.\
Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
Decide how to save and manage the retweeted data:
- Export to Google Sheets: Link your Google Drive for real-time export.
- Export to CSV File: Download the data directly to your system.
- Output Management Options:
- Append: Add data to the existing file.
- Split: Generate a new file for every run.
- Overwrite: Replace the previous data with the latest results.
- Deduplicate Data: Remove duplicate entries automatically to keep your records clean.\
Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
After configuring all options, click Run to start the automation. Choose one of the following:
- Cloud: Runs on TexAu’s servers for hands-free execution.
- Desktop: Runs on your local machine, using your IP address.
Tip: Running on the Desktop app can save cloud credits and offer better IP flexibility.\
Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
After the automation finishes, navigate to the Data Store section in TexAu. Locate the Twitter Auto Retweet task and click See Data to view or download the retweeted data.\
