Twitter Impressions Export

The Twitter Impressions Export automation allows marketers, social media managers, and growth hackers to extract insights about their Twitter content performance. By exporting impression data for tweets, this tool helps optimize content strategies, track campaign effectiveness, and refine audience engagement. With bulk input options, scheduling, and seamless Google Sheets or CSV export, it simplifies analytics management.

Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store and search for Twitter Impressions Export in the search bar. Click on the automation to begin configuration.

Step 2: Connect to Twitter with TexAu

Connect your Twitter account. Click Add Account and select Twitter. Use one of the following methods for secure connection:

• Magic Link: Authenticate via an email link for quick setup.
• Add Account via Browser Extension: Use TexAu’s browser extension for direct Twitter connection.

Tip: Use the Magic Link method for ease and secure login without manual cookie management.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source

Specify which tweets’ impressions you want to export by selecting an input source:

1. Manual Input: Enter a single tweet URL to export impressions for a specific tweet.
2. Google Sheet or CSV File: For bulk processing, create a Google Sheet or CSV file containing tweet URLs. Provide the link to the Google Sheet or upload the CSV file in TexAu.

Tip: Use Google Sheets for collaborative and updatable lists of tweets, ideal for managing campaigns.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

Use TexAu’s Schedule feature to automate impression exports at specific times. Click Schedule and configure timing options:

• None: Run the automation immediately.
• At Regular Intervals: Automate exports daily, weekly, or at custom intervals.
• Once: Schedule a one-time export for specific analytics needs.
• Every Day: Automate daily exports for continuous monitoring.
• On Specific Days of the Week: Set runs on days like Monday or Friday to align with reporting schedules.
• On Specific Dates: Run the automation on campaign-specific dates for targeted analysis.

Tip: Scheduling ensures timely analytics to align with content or campaign tracking.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

To avoid API limits or detection, configure an Iteration Delay to space out data extraction. Set Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to randomize intervals between fetching impressions for each tweet. Adjust the delay in seconds, minutes, or hours.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)

Select how to save and manage the extracted impression data. TexAu offers these options:

1. Google Sheets: Export directly to Google Drive for collaboration and real-time updates.
2. CSV File: Download the data in CSV format for offline analysis.
3. Output Management:
   • Append (Default): Add new data to an existing file for ongoing tracking.
   • Split: Generate a new file for each automation run, ideal for campaign-specific reports.
   • Overwrite: Replace old data with the most recent export, keeping the focus on the latest performance.
4. Deduplicate: Enable this feature to remove duplicate entries and maintain clean data.

Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets is ideal for collaborative campaign performance tracking.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop

Once all configurations are complete, click Run to start exporting Twitter impressions. Choose between:

• Cloud Mode: Execute the automation on TexAu’s servers for hands-free operation.
• Desktop Mode: Run the automation locally to save cloud runtime credits and use your IP address.

Tip: Use Desktop Mode for cost-efficient and localized execution.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

Once the automation is complete, navigate to the Data Store in TexAu to access the impression data. Locate the Twitter Impressions Export automation and click See Data to view or download the results.
