Warm Outreach

Warm outreach is contact with a prospect who has some prior connection — they've engaged with your content, met you at an event, been referred — making the conversation easier to start.

What is warm outreach?

Warm outreach is the opposite of cold outreach: you have something to reference. The prospect downloaded a piece of content, attended your webinar, was referred by a peer, met you at a conference, or interacted with your brand in some traceable way.

Why it matters

  • Warm outreach reply rates are typically 5–10× cold rates
  • Conversation opens easier — there's an actual reason for the touch
